Bev Harton closed 118 as Cueball B called the shots against rivals Cygnet, Harton gamed 21 including three ton plus scores, colleague Angie Hields racked up the same amount of tons for 22 and then registered a 24 pairs with Jayne Janes, Michelle Britton 135, 100, 121 was Cygnets star.

Second place Clifton quickly found themselves 0-2 as visitors Tiger roared with Deni Titchener and Kate Liddle 2 x 100 before Ruth Norman kick started the home teams winning surge Jo Hodges including 125, 100 for 22 in her singles, then Judy Hall secured the result.

Slip B are quietly gaining ground on Clifton as they were prevented from a full house by Woolpacks Kath Powell, Becky Laverack playing a captains roll with some top scoring.

Colleen Armitage – Maggie Tottie snatched a last game win for Ox against visitors Flag A.

Claire McInnes was instrumental in Slip A win against Slipper.

Toni Smallwood – Nikki Riley secured Burnholme match points at Beeswing.


DIVISION 2
Burton WMC were taken to the wire at Sea Horse Joan Woods – Claire Mill snatching victory for the club side to keep them level at the top of the division with Acomb.

Acomb beat close rivals Cueball A by the smallest margin Kayleigh Thomas – Rose Gray snatching victory.

Tramways got back on track at Flag B winning all the pairs for a 7-2 victory to move within striking distance of the leaders.

Mitre also moved close flying past Winning Post for a 6-3 win.

Shoulder nudged a same score line win against Shepherd A.

Suns Janet Fowler – Chris Swales rose to the occasion to secure their small margin victory against Severus.


DIVISION 3
Front runners Tap were prevented from a full house in the singles by Britannias Carol Barker, Jeanette Robinson sealing victory for the leaders who added a pairs win to their tally.

Shepherd B had captain Jacky Sargeant – Sue Lacy securing victory in the final pairs against visitors Swan to hand onto second place.

Jubilee were taken to the wire by Locomotive, Jubilees vice captain Angela Lancaster – Tracy Yeomans securing victory.

Beagle pairing Caz Finch – Hazel Cooper sealed victory at Volunteer (who are playing at St Pauls Lodge).

Marcia Gray were two players light however they found themselves 2-0 up thanks to Margaret Forth and Sonya Love before Leeman A captain Peggy Rose inspired her team as the made home advantage count for a 6-3 win.

Leeman B charged to a 7-2 victory at Hussars.
